He also said there was a typo and it's 397, not 497 and no wind. In fact, he said perfect conditions.
We're testing 3 of them with various match ammo, so we'll keep you posted.

I'm guessing if you can't do it then no one can?!?! Why can't people just read the thread in it's entirety so that they would have seen it state "NO WIND". Anyway, beautiful rifles and +1 for So Cal and -1 for CA laws!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the compliments. It took a lot of time and a ton of money to get my rifle,set up so it would shoot like this. Like I said, 397yards under perfect conditions was how I shot that group. In my opinion....unless you don't know how to squeeze the trigger properly and consistently you willl be off.
Now, if I had made some bs up like I shot with full value wind at 600 yards then the bs posts could start. Btw, 397 yards with no wind for a DMR rifle isn't all that special with custom match ammo and no wind. I'd bet most folks on the hide who really have been trained could pull it off or better without straining themselves. Keep in mind that I spent about 9 yrs in swat....I wasn't a sniper but I did shoot my fair share behind the bolt guns. This gun was built to shoot to 1000y with match ammo so I would say the rifle did all the work on this one.

The action does not cycle after the shot.....I manually cycled it after every shot to squeeze every bit of accuracy I could out of it. No moving parts after squeezing the trigger makes it ridiculously accurate. Maybe that's why the damn rifle has a $4199 retail (ridiculous!).

Wow... One of the nicest guns on here... Apparently worth every penny as well. Why would someone really give him B.S. over that..? They can't be serious..? He would've been able to do that with ease if his gun was built for 1000y shots, that was 397..? people suck sometimes. I say more power to him... My RRA LAR-8 probably will barley see accuracy like that, but then again, I'm just starting out, so who knows. KUDOS +1 for the rifle, and +1 for the group..!

Because you weren't here when he was claiming how simple it was to hit a deck of cards at 1000yds. Then frank offered to pay for everything to get him out to Rifles Only (IIRC) and show everyone. He didn't show. In other words from what i'm reading it's just adamxdavis or whatever his name was. Honestly sounds just like him anyway. Gun built for 1000yds or not doesn't really matter.
