Received my GA Precision LR308 earlier this year, built to my spec for hunting. The only thing I'd do different would be to flute the barrel.

First time out -

1 coyote of a pair that came to a predator call hour before sunset, along with 1 wild pig sow of a pair that came to the same predator call about 30 minutes later...

Next up is a wild boar, largest of the 2 sows and 8 piglets that arrived at the feeder last Saturday...

I'm looking forward to deer season, and more quality time with the pigs...

First photo is near Streetman.

The second is outside of Paducah.

I had hope to use the rifle a little closer to home, soon... but the rain is putting my plans to waste... just when the hogs came back.

And what I want them to look like...

Thank you for the fashion tip, Bolt, however, the shorts matched my purse and her thong...

Oh, and that hunt was a few days before Labor Day, actually just a few after Memorial Day, so white was required...

What WAS a travesty was the camo felony I pulled last weekend... only the box stands I used in these two hunts kept me in check!

True, and we are trying to eradicate the pigs to promote the deer population... sadly, we fall behind daily...

Me too - that honey hole of mine is surrounded by flood waters - I always wondered why they called that area an 'island' on the topo map... now I know. : /

The water had just receeded to the surface of the concrete 'low-water' crossing used to make access to property... then we received another inch or more of rain overnight last night... hope that this will drain, and the silt can be cleared from the banks to allow access again next weekend... Mother Nature is a challenging bitch, at times.

Re: GAP DPMSLR308 versus Pigs and Coyotes

Took my son out on his 1st hunt with me to see what I did when I was out hunting. He is almost 4 and sat for 2-1/2 hours to get this guy. Already asking when we are going again.
