GAP M40a3 question

I bought a gap m40a3 and my question is if I were to have them add a surefire supressor attachment to it would the value not be as good cause it isnt spec anymore

It would be an A5 if you added the EFR as well. It should not make a difference in value of the rifle as you are adding a $150 break plus having it installed. Other than maybe going up as most people would like a break on their rifles. It's your rifle make it what you want. Just my .02 cents. JAA

yes I understand the differences between the a5 and a3 I was just wondering if when I went to sell it if people would be turned off since it isnt spec a3 anymore

No, I wouldn't think so. But seriously build it the way you want it!!! And dont buy the gun to resale! Enjoy it!!!

You can also make it an A3 again with a barrel change.

Don't forget that even the real deal "spec" builds get modified for mission requirements and latest gizmos.
