I have read several posts concerning trigger choices of late. I am a Shilen man because they seem to fit me better than most others. But....
A couple of minutes ago, I picked up a GAP-built .308(Remington action, 1/11.25 Bartlein, HTG in Woodland) and dry fired it. Holy mackerel, Reverend Gardner and his minions adjusted the factory trigger and it is about as fine as any I have used. It is a shame, but I have only put about 20 rounds through this stick since I got back a few months ago(I put 4 of 5 into a wallowed out hole at 100yds) and forgot how nicely the trigger broke.
