I got a chance to slip out and do a little cold weather test on my new GAP10 6CM today. It was 10* below zero with a breeze out of the northwest. George sent along one box of handloaded 105gr Hornadys loaded with 41.8grs H4350. I fired one shot up close, then shot one at 100 meters, moved the POI down 1.3 mils,(.3 high@100M) zeroed the turrets and started shooting steel. The first plate was 360 meters. I put in 1.2 and fired two shots, both hits. The next plate was 460 meters. I was using dope from my 6XC bolt gun and 105gr scenars at 3050fps. The next 7 shots were all in fairly close(three grazed the very bottom)for holding off a bit for wind and showed up on the bottom end of the plate. I added a tenth and fired my last shot that hit at about 1 o'clock.
The rifle functioned perfectly and shot lights out, regardless of the cold.

8 shots at 460 meters.
My testing will continue when I get my dies and brass. So far, so good!! Looking forward to shooting it when gets really cold!!
