I recently replaced the original barrel on my JP LRP-07 6.5 CM after shooting it out with a Bartlein 400modbb from Craddock. I did load development on it with my recently replaced Surefire RC2, my 1st group was always the best and they would gradually open up. When I say open up my "average 5x5 was around .8 MOA plus or minus.
I've been wanting to try one of the Chad tuner brakes and they came in stock, and I had one delivered. Last week I shot about 60 rounds through it testing the 1st 12 tuner settings and a few showed promise. I shot the attached targets from left to right and top to bottom, the 2 top groups were different tuner settings and the last 5 were all on the same setting that showed promise previously. These are all 5 shot groups using Lapua SRP brass, H-4350 and Berger 130 OTM's. I did make a scope adjustment from group 3 to 4 and was adjusting my gas settings on the last 3 groups which I have to believe was affecting my POA.
