Gasport size?????

What is the proper size for a gas port on a 11" barrel? I am not getting enough gas to fully function the bolt carrier.

I would have someone open it up a thousandth at a time and test fire. What weight buffer are you using?

11.5" barrel, .625: dia., 3.850" from muzzle;
Port sizes from .081" to .089"
11.5" barrel, .750" dia., 3.850" from muzzle
Port sizes from .086" to .094"

I do my 11 1/2" uppers in .223 at .090, all mine are .750 barrel diameter.
