Why was the suppressed bolt carrier group discontinued? Anyone?

In 2017 S&W purchased Gemtech.
Not sure if they have made much of anything since then.

Bootleg makes a four position adjustable bolt carrier. If you can ever find one in stock.
CMC makes a 'suppressor optimized' bolt carrier too.
