Germany played really well for the whole tournament so far.
I just hope they won't win, otherwise they'll get us at 4 wins
So for me, from now on, go Netherlands, go Spain, although if I'd have to put my money on it, I'd say Germany according to what I've seen so far.

I had Germany and Brazil in the final. I hope I am half right.
The bad news is they have a young team so they'll be back again in 4 years. I have vested interest I was born there... so I'm allowed to route for them seeing as we tanked early again this year. Our coach is way to conservative with the talent the US team has and is a reactive not proactive coach. That goes squarely against my playing style.

Germany has been solid all tournament, but today was impressive. The scoring efficiency of the Germans was stellar. When they got solid looks at the goal, they tended to score. What an enormous difference that is from the US squad.
Was anyone else annoyed by all the Argentine flopping?

Flopping.... the South American countries tend to do that. First to foul and first to flop....a bit whiny too...talented yes, but I'm not fond of there style... just an observation. I did also notice the African Countries tens to play a bit rough. That keeps things interesting for sure.
