Wait for Dick's black Friday sale. They'll probably have a heavy barrel Remington on sale for about $400 (hopefully less), .308, 7mm-08, .243, or .223. Buy one, put it in a chassis, put a scope on it that cost more than everything else put together. Shoot it until the barrel wears out. It will almost assuredly shoot better than you can. Rebarrel in whatever is hot next. Barrels are like bullets = consumed expendables.
