Great spokesperson for the Elevate Oregon on his sweatshirt - their mission to 'build relationships with urban youth to promote education, self-reliance, and leadership'. That dude was trying to be self reliant alright!

Spent better part of 2013 in Medford (or Methford as some of the locals call it). Was probably a nice place in the day but what a shithole now. Homeless everywhere and local news filled daily with drug/crime stories. One trip to Portland was more than enough but did get a chance to drive the coast and that was nice. Would like to see the eastern part of the state sometime but that'd be the only reason I'd ever go back.
