Rifle Scopes Give me some suggestions on scope

I have a Knights Armament SR-15 .223 20" BBL, my range goes out to 500 meters.I have a Knights 30mm mount, so try to suggest an optic that would look good on this rifle and perform at the stated ranges

Max Buget $800 maybe that number can have a little flexability.

The new Vortex Viper PST that is due out in June or one of the Sightron SIII scopes would be my choices in that price range.

That's quite a looker indeed.....

When I say "Looks Good" i'm refering to the proportion of scope size to rifle size, some optics look huge on some rifles.

A smaller scope looks better on an AR: no more than 40mm OBJ and that is big. You don't need more than 10x out to 500 yards and having a very low-magnification is a big plus because of the wider more practical field of view. An AR is a light rifle and the scope should be light also to complement it.

I'd go with a Leupold or Nikon 2-8x32 scope with exposed turrets.
