Rifle Scopes Glass recommendations for my new Bushmaster ACR?

Hey Everyone.

I just picked up a Bushmaster ACR and need some glass. I have other rifles with red dots, ACOGs etc but want something variable powered since I mainly shoot benched at paper at 100 yrds and steel out to 600 yrds.

My budget for the glass is in the $300-400 range since most of my money went to this rifle.

Any recommendations? Reticle type isn't a big deal since I shoot at known distances.


I was sorta eyeballing the Bushnell Elite 4200 3-9x 40mm. Thoughts on it or any other scope in this approx price range?

Konus makes a decent scope in your price range. The M30 Model 7281 6.5-25X44 Tactical scope with illuminated reticle. Amazon.com has them for $329 with free shipping. My brother has one a likes it a lot.

I went for the vortex viper pst 1-4 for flexability on my AR. You mich want to look at USO 1.8-10 power variable. It seems like a good fit for what you want.
