Ok.. I have been looking at a 223 rifle for a while... wanting to thread one for my suppressor to goof with..

I have a buddy that has a LIKE NEW in the box Tikka T3 Scout HEAVY in .223... comes with some cheap scope.. and some rings...

Price is $500.00

I have NEVER had a Tikka... but have handled them in the past.. are they accurate rifles and is it durable?

Thanks

M- $500 is a BAR TAB!!, not a rifle!

The only Tikkas I have shot were impressive enough--particularly for the $$$. Check the barrel twist--and since its your buddy, shoot it first.

ahhh good purchase you will love it man.

Cant go wrong really unless its been abused badly.

A new Tikka like that, with a heavy profile barrel, in this country (Australia) with rinds and cheap scope will cost about $2000 easily...

So you have done alright

Re: Good Deal: Yes or No?

Definitely sounds like a Great Deal! I almost bought a T3 Tactical in .223 last year for $800 with no scope and I thought that was a deal. Not sure what the difference is but I'm sure it's a very similar gun. I haven't seen a T3 Tactical for less than $1000 recently.
