DDG is just a wrapper around google. Google may not know it was you searching for that, but they're still capable of shaping your experience, and what you're allowed to see and when.

I used to use IxQuick, but then they changed to "classic.startpage.com" and are 'enhanced' by google. The page is blue,,,, so not sure about the pills.
