that is what i am finding out, i might just say screw it and send it to one of the guys here i just thought what i needed done was small enough i would hope there was somebody down here people trusted. i'm not testing the waters.

Eh, Ive tried Gussler's. Lately Ive been taking my gear to Clothey & Sons, in El Cajon. Right inside the El Cajon Gun Exchange.
Anyone else been to Clothey for something besides trigger work or ejector/extractor trouble?

I've had Ray at Iron Sights do some 1911 work for me and I have been satisfied with his work. I don't know what services he provides for rifles but recently I had him fit a barrel bushing for me and it came out excellent.
