Ok so hopefully at the beginning of next month I'm heading out to do some ladder testing and load development..
I was planning on taking my reloading equipment with me in the truck and loading up some loads after my ladder test and hopefully get it all done in one day. The press does fine I have already loaded 100 rounds on it already and the stand holds up nice. I was going to set it up but im too lazy to screw it in and pull it out of the closet.
(Yes I plan on taking the tv off and movies out lol)
I have a old TV stand I drilled some holes into and use that for my new reloading bench after moving out of my last place. Haven't gotten a reloading/gun bench build in my garage yet. And a old thermal Imaging system hard case I fit all of my loading gear in. Press doesn't fit in box but its not exactly fragile.
Is there anything wrong with that thought or should that be Good to go??
Also For my ladder test im going to do it out at 300 yards...
I have a like 4'x3' cardboard target. Is that over kill or will I see that much rise from the higher velocities. I plan on either zeroing some 43g loads for my zero (Doing a 41gr to 45g test from a 20" 700 with 175g SMK/Varget)
