Stay away from the Corcoran Field boots, UNLESS you like replacing boots every five years. They split right behind the toe cap on the outside. Thin leather or something. Two pair in ten years...Danners and Matterhorns(same same) 10 years each.
It wasn;t until I needed a pair of TAN roughout boots for duty that I got my last set of Danner Temperate boots...working on 7 years so far.
Corcoran, lighter weight all leather, and polishable to a high shine. Danner, well dull polish since they only recommend conditioner adn NEVER use wax based, ie, Lincoln polish on them.
