NOT close to you, but I've seen good things from Cylinder & Slide. Turnaround time is a variable, but work is good!

Depending on what you need, does S&W factory fit your needs? I and close friend of mine have sent a few guns into them for warranty and performance shop work. They work FAST, and pleased with the customer service. A responsive company!

    Best of luck!

SW Performance Shop does good work for sure.

Cylinder & Slide also does very good work. I don't know the pricing of the Performance Shop, but I'd be willing to bet C&S will be a little more money and maybe a bit slower. I can also tell you that C&S is absolutely top notch and who I use for anything I can. Bill Laughridge is good people and produces outstanding quality.

Let us know what you decide and the results of the work.

I know shipping is a pain, but Randy Lee did work on a 640 that I shot, and I was very impressed with his work. Revo smiths are not that common, good ones are even rarer. It worth the wait.

Kent Singletary, prescott (I think, been a while since I had any work done to a smith) AZ, you won't be sorry, and his rates where reasonable, like $65 for an action job and he provided all the parts?
