In general I think the government has been far too secretive for far too long. In regards to this I fully agree, kick them out. No reason to have the press walking freely any DOD installations. Invite them to press conferences when appropriate otherwise they should fuck right off!

I also notice an insane difference from decades past. Too many programs are advertised while in development. We should develop the latest and greatest quietly and only be open after it’s become commonplace on the battlefield. Perfect example is the next gen thermal night vision integration with hud display for grunts. Like straight out of a video game. Why are we advertising this? Way too many other examples.

Because this is more gatekeeping by the blood-soaked monsters that brought you covaids. The more power the federal gov exerts, the less freedom you have. In all instances and it doesn’t matter who is in power

There’s a difference between the government being open and allowing bad actors into our own WAR department. It would be one thing if they had a small corner they were relocated to but my understanding is they had free rein to walk about the pentagon. That’s insane!

There is strategic benefits to advertising your capabilities. I mean, everyone pretty much knows they don’t want to be hit with a hammer, without actually being hit by a hammer. That drunk in the bar getting lippy? You don’t need to hit him with the hammer if he knows you have a hammer.

The press could actually pursue news stories instead of happily lining up for their dose of government approved ejaculate. Applies to both sides, although we know the media is overwhelmingly left due to their generous funding model.

so does Mossad so keeping them out should happen. of course Israel controls most of the MSM as well as congress,DOD,exec so WTF?

Ah, you’re one of those…. Check back in when you return to reality.
reality? yea our "special ally" is certainly entitled to the billions we send them in many forms every year. they are entitled to spy and trade our nuc info to the USSR. they are entitled to sink our ships and only kill a few sailors. they deserve the Israel 1st beliefs and actions by both parties. after all they are more important than any American nat'l interest. a piss ant theocratic dictatorship certainly deserves the US to wage whatever war they want us to in order to further the greater Israel project. i mean look at the benefits our congressmen get- free trips to Israel plenty of money for their campaigns. they deserve to bomb anybody they want that annoys them with our bombs.
who could want a more staunch friend?

The bulk can't stand the truth, stomach, or even grasp what it takes to keep what little we have left.

The article doesn't mention it, but I think Newsmax also refused to sign the agreement. Will be interesting to see how they cover Pentagon stories in the future and whether or not their relationship with Hegseth changes.

You think the media being able to run amok in the pentagon and leak like a 90 year old dementia patient is a check and balance against the federal government?

The media could be a check, but not the way it is currently handled. The bigger problem I was trying to point out, and that I always make(and that you and most others always ignore), is that the fed gov is already too powerful. And it’s not enough anymore for “conservatives” to fall for some bullshit bait-n-switch that team red always pulls. You either care about actually “conserving” the ideals that made this country amazing(and have been missing for quite some time) or you’re just some big gov fuck toy that’s just going to cheerlead when your team is wielding the power stick

They presently "think" the gubmint is "aligned with their interests."

Most people don't want freedom, they want to be dictators with their views enforced, hopefully by someone else so their conscience is clean.
