Stayed in a refurbished log cabin from the 1890's. Had a great hunt with some good friends. We all tagged out on mule deer & pronghorn.

I managed a 3x4 mule deer at 260 yds, a pronghorn at 160 yards, a coyote at 420 yards, all with my trusty .25-06 Rem 700 CDL & 6x Leupold. Also shot a few prairie dogs with the .204 Ruger/CZ rifle.

Still have some hunting to do here at home. Hope everyone has a good season.

Re: Good Wyoming hunt

Thanks guys. Nearest city was Gillette, but we just stayed in the old ranch house.

No - that's not the same pronghorn that I shot. I'd filled my tags before I started doing much wildlife photography. Didn't make much sense to me to spend time taking pictures when I should be trying to tag game!

Was a really good hunt with some good friends. We all scored on pronghorn and mule deer. No giants, but good animals all around, and an awful lot of fun. It's my fourth hunting trip to Wyoming in 12 years. That state has always treated me well on hunts.
