I remember. I also remember the media doing everything to cover up that Mr Wilson engaged the bad guy with his own AR, and that was enough to make the bad guy stop killing and run away.
You are thinking of Stephen Willeford at the Sutherland Springs shooting (2017). Jack Wilson killed the perp at the West Freeway Church in White Settlement (2019).
My thoughts exactly. It doesn't get any more open/shut than this one.
