Anyone here used a green dot under nods for passive aiming? In particular a Holosun 407c or 507c? I have a 14 and a 407c green but not in the country to try for another couple weeks. Was curious if anyone has any success or lack thereof trying to use NV with a green dot. I have WP if that makes any difference.

I am running green tubes and a green dot RMR dual illum, works like a champ.
Whether that means it will work with a holosun, I cannot say for certain; but if the question is "green on green", it is all good.

Light color should be irrelevant. Issue would be the light source not being able to go down dim enough to not bloom real bad or cause your 14s react like a strong light is hitting it. Maybe I’m crazy?
I’ve heard certain optics have different coatings that affects performance under nods. Also the green dot is a different wavelength so wasn’t sure if it could be more or less sensitive to the nods as well.
