Has anyone on here ever tried to trim the sides down on a Greyboe Renegade stock? I have one already on a target rifle and would like to get another one to save the 6 month wait for a McMillian Game Scout. I am currently sourcing parts for a hunting rifle and I like the grip of the Renegade, but I would rather have a narrower profile on the forearm. According to the guys at Greyboe, the stock is solid and has no "fill". I am wondering if you could chuck it up in a mill and shave the sides to a slimmer profile.
Any thoughts or ideas????
