Never had a pcc, but does anyone have any experience with the new griffin mk2’s in 9mm? I’d be running it suppressed with subs as a range toy/cheaper training gun.

Yea I was looking at the complete 4.5” pistol they sold. I priced building one and looked like by the time you upgraded parts and stuff it wasn’t that far off the griffin sale price they have now. How much nicer is a delayed blowback vs standard? I was just looking to keep it simple but I don’t know what I don’t know so I’m open to suggestions. There are a ton of websites to get parts from, Griffin isn't really offering all the pieces yet but probably will. Personally I would look into some type of delayed blow back, makes them alot easier to tune and much more enjoyable to shoot. I currently have a blowback 9mm and a mean arms bearing delay 9mm. The mean arms isn't the cheapest but you can use it on a standard ar lower with their Pmag inserts. You can also run their upper on a deticated 9mm lower if you want. I like the normal lower cause the mags are the same and indexing is the same action.
Just to be pedantic, I'll mention that the JP5 operating system is basically lifted right out of the MP5, which is definitely a tried and true gun.Regardless, I'd definitely be looking into some sort of delayed action system. Just beware that I don't think that any one system, other than CMMG's has been out long enough to be fully tried and true.
Oh, geez. Another one I've gotta check out. Man, for me an AR9 was just something to play with, UNTIL I got a 9mm suppressor. Now I'm seeing an answer to the question of why? Its been a long time since I bought a complete firearm that wasn't a hamdgun, but I've recently found myself researching alternatives to what I have. I love the way the MP5 shoots, but everything else about it sucks.Just to be pedantic, I'll mention that the JP5 operating system is basically lifted right out of the MP5, which is definitely a tried and true gun.
I've only put a few rounds through one, but its absolutely in a different league than any blowback gun no matter how well tuned. Less recoil than the one MP5 I've shot, and I find the AR based ergonomics to be far superior.Oh, geez. Another one I've gotta check out. Oh, geez. I just went and checked them out. That 6" is calling my name.
Yeah, that's what keeps me on the AR9. The ergonomics. The manual of arms is superior to other platforms and on my setup, I have enough rail space to comfortably a light and a switch. My overall barrel length including the suppressor is about 10". Its a very nimble setup without being overly small.I've only put a few rounds through one, but its absolutely in a different league than any blowback gun no matter how well tuned.
