Don’t know why but it always seems that I have a flyer. Maybe some of the more advanced shooters can help me fix this. Take a look at the photos and advise. Thanks

Are these all 3 shot groups? Go to 5 shot groups and that flyer might start to look more like part of your group.

Is the flyer always the same shot number, 1st shot or always last shot?

Is the flyer random or the first or last shot. Are those groups all shot during the same session. What does a cold bore group look like.

Mostly a random flyer. they show up any where in the string. Fist to last and they are all in the same session. Cold bore groups are the same.

This was at the same session with factory ammo from Desert Tech 175 GR. 3 rounds

Given that you haven't noticed any "trends" to when the flier appears, I would just chock it up to shooter error? I mean no offense, b/c even with those fliers that is still some pretty tight shooting. Even with a top-notch custom rifle, its no easy task to put them all into the same hole.

If you can, chrono a few groups and see if you notice any velocities discrepancies with the fliers.

Xander3Zero, offense none taken, I am running a Desert Tech SRS A1 .308 22" barrel with a Thunder Beast Ultra 9. I am still learning all the time and that is why I posted with this question. I too think it might be me but with no coach to watch me it is some times hard to see what your are doing wrong. Not wrong but different. Hoping to correct the problem myself but I might need to find a shooting partner that is close to me.

Never mind, I see they are different bullets with same odd result. Basically, a reloading issue. Velocity already mentioned but also look for excessive bullet tilt. Not all chambers will correct for this in battery. Primers holes should be deburred from the inside. Ammo stored in the same position. Neck tension. Virtually, everything during the reloading process can be a culprit.

Don't forget the crap the rifle rests on. A loose bipod, scope ring, mount, action screws. Lots of things to Google.:)
