have any of you seen this or used them? I really like the idea, and the lockable ones are still MUCH cheaper than any safe I have seen

I hide the location of my Gun Safe in our house. Then make sure my weapons are actually locked in a quality Gun Safe and not just concealed behind something. This is weak security from my point of view. Fumbling with the magnet/release catch is not what I would want to be doing when I needed a weapon. I would not consider this product a gun safe.

Agreed, it's concealment, not cover! IMO the nonlockable ones are good for quick access (if you don't have untrained kids) to your defense gun, but don't be hiding your entire collection in there. Criminals are smarter than you think.
