Gun show sale sting in Arizona!!

Re: Gun show sale sting in Arizona!!

Well, they only found two dirtbags that sold to them illegally. I'm sure you'll never see footage of the rest of the law abiding gun dealers that told them to piss off.

I actually wish local police would do this more often. The more of those shyster dirtbags that get arrested or fined, the better gun shows would be.

As for straw purchases, give me an effin break. Kill gun shows, people will just do straw purchases from dealers. No way to legislate out illegal activity, all you can do is punish those when they do it

There I go again though, rambling off all this common sense. We all know politicians have no ear for that mess.

Bloomberg can suck a dick.

Well said JRose.....and agree 100% with the closing statement!

Re: Gun show sale sting in Arizona!!

Explain this to me again how it is that he, as a MAYOR, and not even a Governor, can send investigators to other states and try to project his demands onto the commercial undertakings of businesses and private individuals living elsewhere? Wasn't it Virginia who shut the door on that by making such activity a felony thereafter Bloomberg tried to play at Sherman marching through GA at VA gun shows?

Re: Gun show sale sting in Arizona!!

Fuck Mayor Scumbag He tried that shit in Virginia and Our Attorney General told hem to get his miserable investigators back to New York Shitty.

Nothing but a rich liberal cocksucker.

Guess you know where I stand

That's a misleading statement at best. I would think it would be 100% since to my knowledge no one makes any guns in NYC. Unless the other 10% is "zip" guns made in some basement.

He is talking about guns purchased in other states. Yes he is a douchebag and yes we fucking hate him

Years ago Rudy Guiliani and Senator Al Damato dressed up like bikers and did just that they went "undercover" lol and bought drugs from numerous locations.

Re: Gun show sale sting in Arizona!!

i do believe Bloomburg and his minions need to be arrested for purchasing guns illegaly.

if you or i went to NY and bought guns illegally we would be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

if caught ! and he was and admitted to it.

Re: Gun show sale sting in Arizona!!

Those purchases*** violated Fed law and they should not be exempt from prosecution:

A resident of State A can not purchase a firearm from a Resident of State B WITHOUT GOING THRU AN FFL TRANSFER.

Seems to me a conspiracy to committ an illegal act.

***I think this is bull shit...

Re: Gun show sale sting in Arizona!!

If NYC wants to set their own gun laws they can secede from NY State and then secede from the country. Until then they need to be told to keep their noses within their jurisdictions.

Re: Gun show sale sting in Arizona!!

Yet again, NY is blaming all their problems on the laws from states other than their own. Maybe that's what Fuckufornia should do as well.

Re: Gun show sale sting in Arizona!!

Let me preface my post by saying that I think the mayor is a liberal, elitist bag of douche, who while claims to HATE guns, has no problem surrounding himself with a protection detail consisting of numerous ARMED NYPD detectives. A bit hypocritical for someone with such an anti gun agenda.

That being said, I think many on here are missing the point. From what I read, he sent PRIVATE investigators (which he has every right to do) in order to expose these scumbag gun dealers who WILL sell weapons KNOWINGLY to people that they SHOULDN'T be selling weapons to. That is the gist I got from reading the news article.

Truth be told, I don't see anything wrong with that. As another poster stated, we should ALL be doing whatever we can in order to oust these scumbag vendors who go around the rules and regulations in turn bringing MORE negative attention to our sport, pastime, hobby, what have you.

It's scumbag gun dealers/vendors like that that give douchebag liberals like Bloomburg a leg to stand on in the first place.

I dont think there would be much said if he did it in NY....but what business does he have sending anyone to another state. FUCK HIM

Re: Gun show sale sting in Arizona!!

Again, you might not agree with it but he has every right to send his private investigators wherever he wants.

Again, you're missing the bigger picture. Don't let your hatred for the man cloud your judgment here. Those gun show vendors are wrong. Plain and simple. There are no two ways about it.

Being that MOST illegal guns that are used in the commission of a crime here in NYC come from OUT of state, I can see why he did it.

Re: Gun show sale sting in Arizona!!

He did the same thing in NV in 2009 and threatened to continue to do so, and the major gun show here now agreed to more strict rules for future gun shows such as:

A background check for all sales, no exceptions

A tag or bracelett system to verify a buyer went through the check

Along with as I understand it making it nearly impossible for a non-dealer to be part of the show now.

On the one hand getting rid of dealers selling illegally is a good thing. At the same time though, I don't think Bloomburg and his like have any interest in the illegal sales themselves, and will never be satisfied with any amount of regulation or extra steps taken at these shows. They ONLY do this to bring bad press to gun owners to further their anti-gun cause. They are trying to get as much bad press as they can out there for guns, probably testing the public opinion waters to try and push some new gun legislation. It's no coincidence that this happened after the AZ incident. The perp bought his gun legally at a sportsman's warehouse and passed the background check, it wasn't sold to him under the table at a gun show. Yet Bloomburg says we need to crack down on gun show sales because of the AZ incident.....again just trying to bring as much bad press to guns as they can.

Not NY, this is a personal war that is being waged against the 2nd Amendment by a very disturbed individual. Someone that took advantage of the situation in AZ to prove that his ideals are in the best interest of victims of gun violence.

Great timing for a shot below the belt...

It really is a shame that some individuals would divert so much attention trying to implement a totalitarian regime, when all that money and energy could be focused on actually fixing some of the issues that are really bringing this country down.

Legal or not, he is a cowardly troll that hides behind money.

Re: Gun show sale sting in Arizona!!

i still dont see why everyone is saying people engaged in private sale transactions are douche bags or are definitely breaking federal law. even Waco Jim says he didnt believe the sales were illegal.

"Jim Cavanaugh, ['waco jim'] a retired agent for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, where he was in charge of the Nashville division, said he didn't believe the sales described by the mayor were, in fact, illegal."

do some of yall live in states where private sales are illegal or something? considering how subjective the brady checks are.... im not sure someone saying 'i might not be able to pass a background check' is reason enough to make a private seller believe there is definite proof the buyer might not be able to legally own or buy a gun. it seems the only scenario where a federal law COULD of been broken would of been by the agents/buyers if they bought said weapons and transferred them to another person out of state. which is no different than a person in new york breaking the law and buying a handgun out of the trunk of a mafia guys car.

I dont hate the man. He and his kind are not worth the energy to hate. I just hold him in total contempt for the way hes going about it. And his arrogant condesending Liberal Jewish rhetoric. And Im aware of NY's gun problem.....at one time most of your illegal guns were coming from Greentop sporting goods in Richmond Virginia, 1 minute off I-95. You could hop in your car in NYC and be at Greentop in 7 hours, buy 20 pistols, and be bamk in the Shitty the next day. Some were making the trip 3 times a week. THAT is the main reason the handgun controll act was passed. But thats NY's problem....not ours.

I think that Virginia, Arizona, and the other states hes done this in should have arrested his agents for "entrapment", set bail at $1,000,000, and let the rich shitbag bail them out.

The only reason the vendors are wrong is because the government has passsed asinine laws that only make things more confusing and give them power to do what they want. No crappy laws, no bullshit.

Re: Gun show sale sting in Arizona!!

I've been dealing with the A hole and his minions for years now.Welcome to my World.
The "Illegal" sales, weren't.The sales were between Arizona residents, not FFL's.The hired agents are residents and the only problem I see is that the individuals who sold the glocks to the agents were greedy Idots.Who else Would sell a gun to an individual who states that they wouldn't pass a background check ? You'd think that the sellers would be more careful with any public firearm transaction,Especially in the state where a tragic and highly publicized shooting occured weeks before. They didn't know the people they were selling the glocks too.Idots.

Re: Gun show sale sting in Arizona!!

This cone head douche likes the publicity gained with his anti-gun campaign. He's chosen to take on the constitution to gain publicity. He tries to make it look like the only people who own guns are southern rednecks and people who live in the wild west. His only support comes from ignorant people who have never been outside their own neighborhoods to see things for themselves. Keep this piece of shit in New York and let him spend his city budget on law enforcement to get the drugs and illegal weapons off his own streets. More thugs on his streets than at gun shows in Arizona.

Re: Gun show sale sting in Arizona!!

If it's ok for him to trip to Az about their laws, how about NY laws for wall street, big banks, the Mob ect, or is it all those problems are from other states as well.

Ny should not be throwing law stones, the shape their in. Besides, maybe all states should change their laws to not allow entry of Any type of waste from outside of their borders, that's generated else where.

I would NOT be surprised if these "private" investigaters were hired with tax payer's money.
