I need to get a new part in the trigger assembly of my HK Fabarm semi-auto. I am seeing that H&K will no longer honor warranty service for Fabarm. I went to Fabarm's web-site and the only contact is a phone number in Italy. Does anyone know where I can get parts? I have tried Mid-way USA, Brownells, and Numrich and nothing. Are thier any parts that are interchangible? I have also tried Shotgun World and am working an angle there but was curious if anyone here has been in my situation and how you were able to obtain parts.
Thanks

Re: H&K / Fabarm Shotgun Parts

At one time, CDNN had a good supply of FABARM parts/accessories...you might try there:

If not, you might look to our neighbors to the North and see if any Canadian shops offer the parts you need. I remember seeing something a while back (maybe on HKPro) about a company in Calgary that stocked FABARM parts. To that end, you also might want to post a thread on this issue on HKPro. If you don't have an account there, you can register for one, or I can start a thread for you if you'd like. Just let me know...

Re: H&K / Fabarm Shotgun Parts

Ok I was able to locate a Fabarm Dealer in Calgary Alberta, Canada. ORD this is the one you mentioned above, thanks brother. They are a gun shop and range called The Shooting Edge. Very polite and professional who have a good working relationship with Fabarm. I told the gentleman the issue and he was very knowledgible of the weapon system. I gave them my address and phone number along with my credit card information and should be receiving a phone call Monday. I was told that they stock various parts in the store and that if they dont have it, they can get it from Fabarm's it will just take longer. Which is fine. During the discussion I was informed that rumor has it Benilli will now be carring the torch after H&K for Fabarm's so hopefully parts wont be a issue for such a fine shotgun much longer.

I'm glad you were able to locate them. I couldn't for the life of me recall the name of the place, but as I have friends in that "neck of the woods," I remembered it was in Calgary somewhere. Glad they are getting your parts situation sorted out!

As for Benelli taking over...that could be a blessing and a curse at the same time. Benelli can be a huge PITA in terms of parts. While sometimes you can find exactly what you need/want, the price is OUTRAGEOUS to put it mildly at least for some parts/components!! I just got done trying to source a barrel for a Supernova and am going to end up buying a whole new shotgun instead of having a 2-bbl setup for mine because I can get an entire new gun for <$75 more than what Benelli wants for just the @#$% barrel. Guess you get spoiled buying/working on Remingtons/Winchesters/etc. where you can buy major components/parts for a song and dance all day long from numerous sources.

Re: H&K / Fabarm Shotgun Parts

I got the phone call today, my credit / debit card was charged for the part and will be here in +/- 10 days from Canada. So Stephan at Shooting Edge is GTG.

That's excellent news!! Glad they are taking care of you!
