Background:
I am stationed at Holloman AFB NM. We have a German Flight School here. They now have a requirement to come out and qualify on our range.
Today was the first day they have come. They are not infnatry and have not shot in a long time. So they... sucked. The rest of the gus I work with wound up learning a new weapon in a few minutes and teaching them how to shoot it.
Overall it is accurate. I can't really tell if it is better than a M-16A2 on accuracy because it was one only on a 25m range and the G36 has a magnified scope and a red dot. It does have a free float barrel.
It is a bit outdated though. the buttstock would be unfriendly to smaller people as it is a bit longer than a M-16 and it is not adjustable only folding. You also cant get a good stock weld for either site.
I seemed to be very stable and well built. I want to take it to a longer range.
Overall I liked it but would not trade it for a M4 anyday.
