Right now I'm getting 2550 from my 175g SMK/Varget load out of a 20" SPS-T.
Anyone using H4895? Do I stand a chance at higher velocities?

Yep, use it with 155 grain pills and watch what it does.

never tried it. I only played with the 155 scenars. They have a better BC than a 175 and you can push them faster. Best i can tell you is to load some up and ladder test them to see what kind of speed you get.

Might try RL17 I was able to gain about 75fps using it over RL15 with 175SMK. Rem 700 sps 26"

I hate the price of the Scenars, so I want to exhaust all my options with the 175 SMKs first.

You are probably at the upper edge with 4895 and the 175. Try 4064. It is a smidge ( A RCH) slower.
