Well been wondering, how one of these will survive. Bought a Midwest Armory scope, the Pinnacle Precision. Ordered a 4-16x50 illum. and got a 6-25x50 illum.. Okay, to start, Why you ask? Just curious to how bad or good it could be. Okay got it today, plain black box nothing fancy. Opened the box got the basics, scope, lens covers, directions, cleaning cloth, mount, and cleaning cloth. No battery for the illuminator.
Looks like an exact copy of Leupold Mark 4 with M1 knobs and side focus. All lettering and arrows are painted on, and nicely visible. The clicks are very easy to feel and hear, side focus and magnification work flawless so far. Everything works on this scope as any other.
The glass inside, here is what you are waiting for.... Very crisp, and clear put it there with a older Simmmons Atec. Noticed some smudges on the objective, no problem cleaned off all good. Mounted this jewel to a Remington 700PSS in .308 and took it outside. Still very clean clear picture, moved the magnification works nicely. Side focus moves very smooth and clean as it should. So is it worth $109.00 will soon see, the test will come trying to hit some steel at 100 yards and 200 yards. Not saying its the best bang for the buck, but like some others here is to good to be true?
