Hey guys. New to the forum. Just wondering if someone could help me with some info on an older scope. The scope is an Hakko Superb 8x56. I got it from a buddy of mine. The glass looks perfect. Just not sure of a value.
Oh wow, looks remind me of the Springfield Armory's 4.5-14 x 56 Gen 1-3 made by Hakko. Thought the 308 illuminated BDC ranging bracket reticle with built in bubble was the coolest thing around, this was back in the 90's when Leupold MK4 were the king of the hill.

The Springfield Armory was my first scope back in 1998. I think mine was a 6-20. But it was FFP, had the level like you said, and had red and green illumination. Definitely a cool scope for the money.
These 4-14x56 go for around $450-1000 on ebay depending on time of year (prior to hunting season best $$$). This is the one I have left over, BDC is really a poor way of doing reticles, but if you have the one bullet at proper weight and speed it rules! Plus side is it's FFP.
