Hard case for 52" long rifle

I recently had a build completed for an F-class rifle and am having a hard time locating a hard case big enough to fit this beast. The largest Pelican case I believe is the iM3410 which is 54" long inside but only 10" high which will not be tall enough to fit the rifle with scope attached. Does anyone know of a hard case that is about 12" x 54" x 6" interior dimension?

Nanuk 995XL is 52" inside which means the butt stock and muzzle would both be resting against the inside edges.....thanks for the input!

I was just in the same position as you. I found a Plano Milspec hardcase that was 54" on the inside length. I purchased it from Midway.

Well after much searching I found the Pelican 1770 and it's inside dimensions are 54.5" x 15.5" x 8.5 inches the only downside is that the cost is just over $400.00!

This is not a Plano case of the past. It's their new line and is as well made as others out there. They run about $169-189.

I agree with Rob01 on the new Plano. A buddy brought his over and comparing side by side with my Pelican I have to say that the Plano is a better deal. Personally I'd buy the Plano and save some $

One of my shooting partners has one and it is a legit rifle case. Gives ole Pelican a run for their money.

Thanks Rob01 This case was definitely more durable than the Plano cases of old, still not Pelican quality but for almost 1/3 of the cost it will do!

Bought two of the Plano cases, one long gun, and one for a bullpup. Solid cases.
