Has anyone handled the LWRC REPR?

Re: Has anyone handled the LWRC REPR?

Forgot to add.

If you already have the KAC I would get the 16" for sure. It will be loud as hell with the brake so if you dont already have the can I would wait till it is in hand to put it on.

I think the price will be 35-4000 which is a spendy son of a bitch

Re: Has anyone handled the LWRC REPR?

I have gotten a chance to handle one. Very Nice rifle. Shot great. but (this is just my personal opinion), for me, the price point of these rifles is to much for what it is. I can get a POF (with a little wait

) 308 and a nice optic for the same money.

Re: Has anyone handled the LWRC REPR?

Ya, I hear ya, on the price. I do think you get what you pay for in the gun world. I have an SR-25, and I have a TON wrapped up into that one, but it shots great, and is admired by everyone that shoots it. Which barrel length did you shoot? What ammo, and at what ranges?
Thanks, Jason

Re: Has anyone handled the LWRC REPR?

I applaud LWRC for thinking outside the box, it's not just another AR-10, but a completely different animal. I think the higher price tag is for the complete set-up with two uppers(one CQB and one precision). I had one on order for a while but my interests shifted and I canceled it but I think it was just shy of 4K for the entire set of two uppers and a lower. I'm still planning on buying one in the not so near future as I have heard good things from individuals who have had first hand experience with the system. I'm going to sit on the sidelines and let others run them for a while before I drop the coin.

+1. Have an M6A2, love LWRC, but wanna wait for any potential kinks to be worked out before I order one. Plus, I need to save right now for the ultimate in bolt action .308's. Semi, can wait for now.

Re: Has anyone handled the LWRC REPR?

I have an A2 and love it. I tend to be like iflyaaord right now - wait and let all the kinks (if there are any) get worked out.

SGC is taking pre-orders right now for the REPR, but don't know which models they have coming.

Re: Has anyone handled the LWRC REPR?

I'm trying to find out if anyone has any first hand experience with the LWRC REPR, 18". Looking to see what MOA it had at 100 yards and further distances.

Anyone ?????????
Big H.

Re: Has anyone handled the LWRC REPR?

I am trying to get some definitive first hand feedback from anyone with actual shooting experience with the LWRC REPR, 18" barrel, hopefully. Can you advise what MOA groups were obtained at 100 yards and/or further? Type of ammo used?

Thanks.

Re: Has anyone handled the LWRC REPR?

the 18' barrel will be good to 800yd using 168. beyond that you are pushing it.

my groups tap out at 600. if you are rapid fire (just sending lead down range) no MOA grouping. If you take your time between shots you will get .5 moa most of the time and .25 some of the time (thats at 100yd)
