Has Midway USA ever sent your package to the wrong address?

I'm about to blow a friggin' gasket over here, and I need to vent a little. Thank god for forums.

Anyway, so I order a couple items on Midway a couple days ago, and I distinctly remember having to enter my new address, beings I moved and all. I also distinctly remember selecting said address as the shipping address.

Fast forward to today, and I get an email saying my package is being delivered to my old address. I'll let you imagine my delight. So I try and call Midway,....they're not open, nor do they have an answering service on weekends. I'm delighted further. Then I call UPS, they said my package was being delivered today by the local post office. They conveniently don't mention which one on the tracking site, and just so happen to list a town that doesn't exist as the location. Awesome. So I have to go through a bunch of bullshit whilst talking to a machine on the other line (tip: just keep hitting 0 until they connect you to a real person. They'll tell you about 10 times they're having a high volume of calls, but it's bullshit), then I finally talk to a person and they say it's in a different town and there's nothing they could do, but she did give me a phone number to the location.

Cool. So I call the number. Guess what? Called multiple times with no answer. Again, I was very happy. I even went online and paid the dollar to change my address on the USPS site (which I already did btw). I doubt it will do any good beings it's probably already on the truck.

And no, there is no chance I sent it to the wrong address.

So that's how my day is going, lol. Might have sealed the deal as far as ever ordering from Midway again. Shame, they have a nice selection of goodies too.

I had that exact same thing happen to me, there is some bug in their system. I called their customer service and they had to remove my old address.

The box was returned to midway by UPS and midway sent it back to the right address. They did not charge me shipping twice... but yes, they do have an issue with sending stuff to the wrong address just after you move.

Interesting. When I place orders with Midway, it defaults to my billing address for shipping and I have to manually change it to my office address.

Yeah, if I remember correctly, even after I entered and saved my new address, it defaulted to my old address and I had to select my new address again. All that, and they still sent it to my old address, lol.

Update:

Okay, so get this. The package finally arrives today, about 2 weeks late, and they have the audacity to charge me $9.88 at the door (because it was sent to the wrong address), which of course I don't have (only twenties), so I have to go rummaging through my house trying to find change, all because THEY f'ed up the address.

I don't understand how you send it to the wrong address in the first place. I mean, I took the time to type my new address in for a very good reason. Why have me do that if you're just going to ignore it and send it to my old address anyway?

What's more, I ordered a bunch of ammo from AmmotoGo.com, and even though I clearly ordered 100 rounds of .38 special (it even says it on the receipt they sent with it), they sent me 100 rounds of .38 super. Now I have to go through the joyful process of trying to send that back and get what I really ordered.

What the hell is wrong with people today? Can't they get ANYTHING right?
