I have 2 scopes and have to send 1 back, Bushnell tactical Elite XRS11 4.5-30 , and a Vortex Razor HD g11. I saw youtube vid showing tracking issues with the Vortex (fluke 1 bad scope?). I do plan on using the elevation and windage knobs. Thanks in advance for your replies!

Pick which reticle you like more and run it. Both have awesome warranties if something goes sideways, but I wouldn’t worry about either of them
Flip a coin. They should both do whatever you want.
I recently got the xrs2 in that GAP scope deal. I wanted a rzr gen2 but the deal on the xrs2 with the kestrel was too good. I like the rzr turrets and ebr7 reticle. But I got the xrs2 with the tremor3, so it's similar enough.
My only complaint about the rzr is the weight.
My only complaint about the xrs2 is the FOV and Paralax distance (compared to the vortex). The vortex advertised paralax is down to like 25 yards, not that I will be shooting less than 100 very often, so the xrs2 75 yard is fine
If either one has an issue, send it back and they will fix it. Both have a good warranty.

I'm pretty partial to Bushnells (I've got... several), so that would get my vote.
I too have the same issue, of sorts. The xrs2 h59 is mounted on my MPA, the gen2 rzr is sitting on the top shelf of the safe. This is mostly because I'm trying to learn the h59. (gen1 rzr is still on my 223 trainer, though I'm not sure why, other than it just flat out works)
The XRS2 should be very close at min and at 27x should have a negligibly wider FOV than the Razor g2

spife7980 Thanks for the comparison. However, since most of PRS shooting is done at about 15X, a comparison at this power would be nice.
I updated the above post with just those two, here is all of the ones Ive collected so far
(Disclaimer: People seem to like it and I cant reason out why this wouldnt be a fair assessment based on the published specs of one vs the other as far as apparent fields of view goes but I will be the first to say I dont know if this is at all correct. According to the formulas I have found, it is, but who knows if Im interpreting them correctly)

This is the dumbest thread I have seen in a while and I will tell you why. Dude you literally have both scopes in your possession. Play with them both and keep whichever YOU like. If you were gonna leave it up to the Hide to decide for you then you should have posted this question before you ordered both scopes to save you the trouble of sending one back.

@kackling-jackel, @wade2big has it all wrong. If your rifle is a RPR, you should put the vortex on it. That's what all the cool kids are doing. Otherwise, pick the one that makes your junk look the biggest in your tactical pants.

I have 2 girlfriends and have to send 1 packing, blonde and a brunette. I saw youtube vid about the hot/crazy matrix and I think they're both above the diagonal. I do plan on using the knobs. Thanks in advance for your replies
I kept the Vortex due to the retical, and illuminated reticle.
If both scopes had same illuminated reticle, I would have kept the bushnell.
IMO I would never buy a FFP scope for hunting the woods because in FFP on lower magnification below 12x the reticle in nearly invisible.

That's the primary purpose of the Bushnell LRHSi in FFP and many rave about how well it' works in that role but also excells at distance with the magnification turned all the way up.
Right tools for the job is all it comes down to, if I want to run a screw into a board I don't pick up a hammer.
I agree with you. Illumination helps FFP scopes on low power especially these thin reticle scopes that are more geared towards the high end with the .03 mil thick reticles. Illumination still doesnt solve the problem if a quicker shot needs to be taken unless illumination is always turned on while hunting.
