JP Supermatch barrel 16" stainless .308, add 50 bucks for their black Teflon coating hope that looks good. Didn't want the standard polished stainless finish look.

JP parts hopefully only 3 more weeks now like they say.

It's not like a rail type hand guard I don't think. It will take a 3" picatiny on top and on both sides at the very front. It will take at least 12" of picatiny on the bottom I think. I never weighed it before but you asked the question so I thought oh yeah I'll go see. But with 6" rail and the AFG and barrel nut it weighs 1.25 lbs. Without barrel nut 0.75 lbs. I remember when I first got it I thought hey I cant hardly know I'm holding something it's so light. It is extremely light with nothing attached to it. $219 from JDM I paid 200 & no tax at gun show. Picatiny rails are rape though.

Affirmative, but I did use a trigger pull scale and just hung the hand guard from the hook. Like I said the hand guard tube all by itself is exceedingly lightweight.
