Hello guys. Long time lurker, first time poster. Thought Id say hello since Im sure I'll have many questions on this journey.
I'm new to long range; pretty much never anything over 100yrs is new. Here in Michigan it's hard to find much over 300, but I plan to travel around to some longer ranges. Three years ago I bought my first 308. 700 Rem 5r and fell in love. Had way to much overtime at my work and no time to shoot, so began dreaming and buying parts for my build I just finished a few weeks ago(took 2 years). Wanted a good caliber to learn fundamentals and reloading; so I stuck with the 308 even though I really want a 338 Norma.

Defiance Deviant action 20 moa rail(Nitrided by area419).
Lilja MK13mod7 profile 1:10 4 groove 25"
Aics 2.0 stock
Nightforce NXS 8-32 moa
Spuhr 0moa mount
Heathen Hybrid muzzle brake
Huber Exponent 2 stage trigger 2lb
Atlas bt46 (not shown)
Had barrel installed/headspaced by Mike Bryant from Bryant Customs.
Thanks for all the good advice you guys post here that helped me come up with this build.

Welcome to the Hide from Middle Georgia. Fabulous looking setup! You have an absolute anchor for the collection and with all the knowledge and possibilities here to explore, you could be working with that great example of ingenuity for a while before you wring out everything possible. When I was driving over the road I thought there were some places to shoot up on the Iron Range you could stretch those legs. Hope that hasn't changed, but ask around here on the site and you may be surprised! Glad to have you brother, I'm always envious of someone that has really gotten a nice rig to take the stress off!

Thanks for the warm welcome and reassurance i made the right choice with my rig. I normally shoot out at the barry county conservation club on tues or fridays, if anyone's from the area; feel free to stop by to shoot.
