I'm 55 and have been shooting since I was a kid and collecting firearms since I first got my LTC. I Bought a RPR a couple of years ago and started tinkering with long(ish) range shooting. I am loving ringing steel at distance. It is really addictive. I am fortunate to be able to shoot out to about 700 yds at a range I built behind my house. I'm hoping to apply what I am learning on this site to be able to actually do that well and maybe even enter a match in the Minuteman League someday. Great info here, thanks for all the effort to make it all easier to understand.

Well, I've been there. Ordered Strawberry Shortcake and it was strawberries on a biscuit. Gotta watch some folks or they'll try to pull one over on ya'.
Welcome to SH anyway. :ROFLMAO:

Yup, gotta watch those massholes, can't trust most of them, particularly when it comes to firearms. Unfortunately, some of us were just born in the wrong place. Personally though, I've never felt the need to pull one over on anyone. I let my actions speak for themselves. I've found it to be much easier that way. 😉

I was employed by a company over in western Mass for a while. Retired now.
I really have some great friends there. I traveled all over the country and I can honestly say MA is way ahead of some and ALL are ahead of RI.

I worked for a couple of years at Solutia in Springfield, lived in Wilbraham. Ended up back in my hometown of Rochester and happier for it. MA is great for most things, just not so much with firearms. Although, the laws are so convoluted that you can build an AR today, but can't buy one unless it was built before the AWB or at least the most recent interpretation of it. crazy. I love my little small town. It's a little red island in a sea of blue. Very firearms friendly too..

Pretty familiar with Springfield although I didn't spend a ton of time at corporate. Only time on the east side of MA was a business trip to Cape Cod. MA really is a pretty state. The whole of New England actually. I hate that I never got to visit Maine. Maybe someday though.
