Help me spend $$$

All right funds are a little tight now, but I can squeeze out about $1,000 to play with. I am looking at a few different options.

Some background:
I have a few can (22lr, 9mm, .223(Waiting still))
I have at least one rifle that could use glass.
I have a few stripped lowers with uppers.

Some Options
AICS 2.0 or another Chasis System for my 5r?
Nightforce 5.5-22 used
Build a upper around a Noveski 18" switchblock barrel
Buy a 30cal can (kinda waiting for shot show 2011 to see what new is coming out)

Sounds like you have several good ideas where to spend it. Why not draw names from a hat or throw a dart and see what fate delivers?

Thats the problem. Too many idea's but not enough $$$'s to do them all. So trying to figure out what to do first.

I have a NXS 5.5-22/56 on top of my 5R. It's a good match. Going to be hard to do that for a grand. AICS would be a good choice and in budget.

IF...it were me.... I would finish as many of the lowers as possible that way they are done and out of the way....

But... thats just me...

I like finishing projects that are outstanding before jumping into something else....

But...hell... its all gun stuff....so no harm in any of your ideas...

Or...you could send the barrel to GAP and have them install a Badger FTE brake. Then you would be threaded for the can down the road. Don't really need a brake on a .308 but I get a kick watching the bullets shock wave and see the impact on steel at the longer distances.

I have a Badger FTE brake just for that reason, so I can shot all day and spot my own hits, and swap out for a suppressor as well.
