I have recently taken in on trade two STANAG scopes. one is a S&B "Leichmetal" 4x25mm "M"... (some pitting in tube but glass & function is flawless)

The other is a Kahles ZF84 6x42mm ST (Never used or mounted)

The question I have is: what type/era of rifle were these designed for & is there a market out there for them?

The ZF 84 is from the early 80's as indicated by the model number. These generally go for more than the ZF 95s, but with the built in mounts limits it's application and thus its value. Not familiar with that S&B model, but would probably be in the same price range.

FN made a sniper bolt action, and Steyr made the SSG back in this time frame.
