So I have removed dozens of pinned flash hiders and have never had a issue having the pin drop out, I thing I have grinded to the limit before reaching the thteads on my socom upper I see the pin looks like its brocken free, I have tapped on the flash hide viced the upper and rocked the A2 flash hider back and fourth and nothing I dont want to screw up a new socom barrel any tricks to get the pin to pop out? Im letting some penetrating oil hopefully sink in

Never removed a pin and weld. How I would tackle this now though is grind on the side of the pin just a bit further, maybe both sides and using a couple picks or small screwdrivers to lift it out.

Or a very thin cutting wheel and grind a slot and twist the pin loose. Assuming there is a wheel thin enough to do that.

kept going slowly with a griding diamond cutting globe tip and when i saw the metal looking like threads i stopped rocked it back and fpur5h and it finally popped out, usually it pops out way before i get the close to threads but all good threads are safe no damage
