I wear Filson. Never tried their pants but their coats liners and flannel shirts are indestructible. I love natural fabrics over the contemporary materials though I do understand some of the advantages. Thing is, I find that Wool and tin cloth works pretty framing well

11/02 update:
I received two pair of Round House jeans today for $79.90 delivered and they look and fit great, and comfortable, well made with 14oz 100% cotton denim. Thanks mtrmn

I usually buy the overalls "seconds" when they have my size in stock. And you're welcome, glad I could help somebody out.

I like Carhartt for jeans, some their shirts, and more. Living most of the year in the deep south I find most jeans to be too hot except the 5.11s. They have a thinner fabric that is durable and has a slight stretch to it. I wear them more than any.

Carhartt jeans and other clothing holds up extremely well. Same as Duluth, basically Ford and Chevy there. Pick based on features and price, they’re neck and neck otherwise. I’m a big fan of factory seconds on the cheap from Carhartt and out of dozens of items bought that way over the years, only twice have I figured out what was wrong with them, and I still kept and wear them regardless. Nobody gives a fuck that I have misaligned pickets on my coat...

5.11 is granola eater shit Stryker, I quit wearing their shit years ago and I was issued it for free. Big time libs run that company, at least they did at one time. I went to Woolrich Elite as an alternative, they killed off that line and I haven’t needed any since.

As for skinny jeans, spandex has no place in men’s clothing. Boys maybe, but not men’s.

It's funny you say that, this real effeminate guy walked up to my buddy at Tacoma Screw (not that kind of screw, but maybe it was lost on this guy) and he asked about his pants, my buddy I mentioned that uses them for his uniform. So the guy kept asking about 'em and kept saying, "I have a sharp eye" and "I have an eye for that" and I realized he was hitting on my friend! Oh shit! Then like you say, a hipster asked where he could get 'em too.

So yeah, maybe I've been outed. But I got 'em years ago, I don't know the politics of the owners, I do know Quantico though and they take care of me. 5.11 is one of the main brands they carry. They do have some good stuff though, not all are made the same. Not the same style, stitching or material. And for the kind of shit that I do, they work.

If I was still kicking in doors and doing fun shit like that, I'd most likely be using the Crye shit. But it's expensive and not civvie kosher IMO.

Agreed, fuck skinny jeans and men's spandex (well, the underarmor shirts when used under armor...) Who thought there was worse than baggy jeans? Next it'll be sagging skinny jeans and THAT's gonna be priceless!
