I have just purchased a Savage 110ba in 338 Lapua. I want to eventually be able to shoot this our to 2000 yards. I am new to ELR and trying to absorb as much info as possible. I am going to buy my glass tomorrow and could really use some advice. I have narrowed my choices to the Vortex Viper PST in FFP and the Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x50. There is obviously a big price difference between the two, but what would ultimately be a better scope for me to learn on and ultimately take out to 2000 yards? Is there a different optic that I should consider? My budget is 2k.
