Rifle Scopes Help with this headache please

I've always had handguns finally ordered and it's here my first AR a jp enterprises psc-11 but I can't decide on a scope between a vortex viper pst and a Nightforce shv on both I can get a really good deal so no too worried about the price but I just can decide on which one to get

To do what with it? Paper punching for groups, varminting, medium/big game, steel banging at distance, 3-Gun? It makes all the difference in helping you decide, otherwise you're going to get nothing but fan favorites but will not accomplish what YOU are intending on doing with it.

A little long distance shooting varmint hunting and shoot some tight groups on paper

I would be all over the SHV in that case. I'm really considering running one for my 17HMR to get some great tree rat and PD effects, and it's hard to argue with a NightForce at those prices.
