Are remigton and savage actions threaded the same?

first of all, savage actions are not threaded the same as savage actions - there are large and small shanks, so even if it did work you would have to specify which savage (and what rem model)


all around the answer is no - the diameter is close but that is meaningless since the thread count is 16 vs 20
