Anyone own or look thru one of these? I actually saw one over the weekend. It is funky looking, but what a cool scope. As you turn the elevation knob, an arrow moves up and down a distance marker in the reticle. Never seen anything like that before.

The one thing I wasn't able to figure out when looking at it was how to calibrate it. You know how this is done Frank?

I got to look through one one day at a local range, the evelation arrow inside the scope was incredible. It was on a TRG-44. At the time I knew this scope was different/special. Not like every other scope I had ever looked through to date. I later realized it was "Fist of Freedom" from AR15.com. He had all the top end Ziess scopes on his rifles that day. Incredible glass IMHO.

I don't believe that's a range or distance marker in the scope, it's an indicator telling you how many mils your scope is dialed at currently without having to look up at the knob.

Not my picture.......but likely the scope was dialed for 1.2 mils or so.

Ohh, I see. Thought you could calibrate it for distance. Still a really cool feature

Anyone have a picture thru the SAM? Most pricey scope I have ever seen so far

Ever think about making a sphur mount with Blits type attachment?

Its interesting no one else , has copied the Elevation indicator in side the scope , its a neat feature .

I think this scope has a limited amount of Elevation available , compared to other scopes in its class , also it mounts rather high .
