FN, SPR action bedded Lilja 24" with vias brake, Mcmillan A5 CDI bottom metal, Badger 20moa base and tps rings, and a valdada ior straight 10x 56mm scope.

Have only got about 100 rounds down so far but it looks very promising. Seems the standard 44.5gr of varget with 175 nosler works the best. It has shot submoa with anything i fed it but it shoots this load particularly well like 1/2 or better when i really pay attention to the trigger. It does have a 5.5 lb trigger. Super crisp but hefty. Plain old win brass and cci br2 primers. This is my first custom rig so i am pretty excited about it. I do own a TRG42 but not every situation calls for the 338, needed something to shoot on a regular basis. I'll get back to you with a full range report when i get these 500 rds loaded and can really stretch it out.

Just ran to the range for a quick load work up on another rifle. Brought the 308 with me fired a five shot group to foul barrel, cleaned it yesterday, then fired these five with some rounds i had worked up for my LR-308. Now i see why people buy custom rifles. I purchased this one from a guy who had it built, but now i want to have one done myself, would really like to try a GAP

group at top was with the 175 and 44.5 varget and the second is 168 with 44.0 a load i had for another rifle. I really like the fact that the rifle seems to not be super picky so i can shoot other loads in a pinch and still get reasonably descent accuracy
