So it sounds like this POS lost in the tournament, and because of failed parenting and sense of entitlement, instead of taking his licks and trying harder next time, he just shoots up the tournament so no one else will when.
Is there any sort of reset button we can mash? Or will this keep spiraling downwards? Failure is a learning point. Not a reason to grab your dads gun and get 15 seconds of fame.

My son is going through an issue right now and I guarantee you that the med community sucks at this stuff.
If they cant issue a pill and mask the symptom they are at the end of their remedies.
Our sons issue is related to anxiety and manifested over a 24 hour period.
1/2 the medical community doesnt believe our issue exists.
The other half recognizes it as a medical (not mental) problem related to infection. We are lucky because we are treating the infection issue and though he heals I think it may take until adulthood before he really heals. Without the antibiotic treatment my son is getting Im guessing real chronic harm occurs.
I work with people in distress.
Since our issue Ive come to really question how many people I meet in distress suffer from undiagnosed medical issues that are being mistreated as psychological issues.
That said is there a "litmus" test based on "a look"?
Ask a maternity ward nurse if there is ever any "observation" based on certain facial features to correlate with social behavioral activity. Im not talking phrenology just if a newborn doesnt exhibit typical behaviors are there oddities on eye, ear, facial feature "differences"?

This has been a lost summer.
If allowed to do so my son would spend 23 hours a day playing fortnite. He is not an oddity. His other friends are the same. They wear headsets and think that playing in their individual isolation is actually "playing together".
His xbox has been removed for two weeks now. His other friends dont want to leave the house opting to play fortnite and their parents are okay with that.
As an aside Im interested to see how this new fortnite vocabulary will go when they return to school. Despite my being a gun enthusiast my son wouldn't have been able to identify semi auto from bolt action three months ago. Now he speaks "AR", "SCAR", "Sniper Rifle", "RPG" and identifies the weapon easily.
Schools are going to shit their pants on the new language displayed by the fortnite players.
Fortnite is not the gun education I want kids to get. I think its exactly the "training" Col David Grossman warns about - training with no ethics or definition of consequences for violating rules of society.
Many games today shouldn’t be played by developing brains. It skews their sense of reality. Now I don’t subscribe to the theory that violent games make people violent theory, I do believe they desensitize the mind to reality.
I’ve always played these games, even as a kid. But we didn’t have the online multiplayer type games they have today. We had 2D left to right flat world garbage really. But the stuff they have today shouldn’t be played by 9 year olds. It’s meant for 20 something’s who are so broke trying to make it in this world who can’t afford to go out on Friday nights. I play them now because I’m old and married and I play with the same guys I played with back in my military days because it’s fun and passes time. But I also don’t live and breathe it. I’d choose the range or camping and hiking over the PS any day.

As someone that has lived in the Chicago area and raised a family there, I can say I have a better idea of it then most of you talking out of your asses. Yes the mayor sucks and the gun laws, but guess what, all of the violence is TARGETED GANG VIOLENCE that happens in very specific neighborhoods. Don’t go there and you dont get shot, pretty simple. Lived in the same place for 12 years and never had a shooting even close to the neighborhood. But go to Florida and you have random killings (club, video game tourney) or Oregon (college shootings, mall shootings) and my old neighborhood looks pretty safe. At least we knew where the gang bangers were shooting up people. Florida, Vegas, etc its all white people (like me) randomly shooting people at normal gatherings. At least the gang bangers mostly shoot each other.....
What is comical is that 2 people were killed in JAX and that qualifies as a mass shooting event....
Every weekend many more are killed and wounded in the Chicago slums....
None of the MSM, Swamp dwellers and even the Chicago politicos give a rat's ass what happens in the hood. The gang bangers know it and that is why it is confined to the areas it is. Let's see what happens if that situation changes and it spreads to the gentile parts of Chicago.
